GETTING HERE

The Barossa is an internationally-acclaimed wine region encompassing the towns of Tanunda, Nuriootpa, Angaston, Greenock and Lyndoch. 

We are a pleasant 50-minute drive north of Adelaide. 

Travel options include transfer by bus, private car, limousine or private charter vehicle.

Magpie House is located in the centre of Tanunda, at the top of Bilyara Road

(at the Apex of Murray Street, Elizabeth Street and Bilyara Road).

 Tanunda's Rotunda Park is right next door to the house, for guests who may desire a casual picnic or simply wish to relax within this gorgeous lush garden setting. We're positioned just behind 1918 Bar & Grill and across the road from Fermentasian and the famous Apex Bakery. Stepping out the front gate of the property you will be metres from the Main Street where you will find our local Tourism and Visitor Centre, cafes and everyday conveniences such as Foodland and Priceline Pharmacy. This is a great location for those who want to be walking distance to all that the beautiful township of Tanunda has to offer!
